Summary

The Company Information tab stores your business name, email, phone, and address. The bot can use these details in answers and handoffs. Some fields can auto-fill from knowledge sources.

Prerequisites

  • Edit chatbot → Company Information tab

Step-by-step

  1. Open Company Information
  2. Enter or verify each field
  3. Use auto-fill from knowledge sources if offered
  4. Click Save Changes

HolderChat can suggest company details extracted from websites or documents in Knowledge Sources. Review auto-filled values before saving.

What triggers a rebuild

Limitations

  • Does not replace legal imprint requirements on your website
  • Keep email/phone current for support handoff accuracy

Troubleshooting

Symptom: Bot gives wrong contact email

Cause: Outdated company fields or conflicting knowledge.

Fix: Update this tab; check knowledge sources for old email.
